Lava Hot Springs, home to Hot Springs Village, is situated in the Idaho Mountains on the Old Oregon Trail. The town is less than a four-hour drive from Yellowstone National Forest and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The resort offers the best in relaxation. The world-famous mineral springs are located only nine blocks away and are open year-round. Massage therapy is available for a fee. Summer activities include hiking, biking, swimming at a public pool a block away (for a fee), fishing, and tubing. In winter, downhill skiing is 25 miles away in Inkom. You can relax in your comfortable unit which has a fireplace and color cable television. Because of the local climate,units are NOT air-conditioned. Studio units OCC: Max 4/Pri 2 have 1 bath,1 murphy bed and a futon.ri 2 have 1 bath,(Recommended occupancy 2 adults). 1BR units OCC: Max 4/Pri 4 have 2 baths, 1 queen bed and 1 full sleep sofa. 1BR1 units OCC: Max 8/Pri 4 have 2 baths, 1 king bed and 2 bunk beds in the bedroom, as well as 2 futons in the living area. All fireplaces are electric. Please note that the resort has three stories and does not have an elevator. A car is necessary to enjoy the area. Check-in is not available until 4:00PM. Alternate emergency phone is 208-240-4410.Guests must contact the resort in advance for pet approval. There are no activities on site. The resort offers a game room and hot tubs.
